SCAM, SCAM, SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND!!!!!!

received call this morning, 3/08/16 from 206-204-9680. Female voice was informing me that criminal charges were being filed against me on file number CH76295 and that this was my last warning. I must return the call immediately or else.

Missed call but since number showed up on my caller id, I called it back. The foreign male who answered claimed to be from the 'IRS'. Then proceeded to start asking me some personal questions. When told him if you are the IRS then you should know the info. He did not like that and kept trying to over talk me! Just hung up from there!

annoying - won't stop - what makes these people think that this is an effective use of direct marketing?

We get these calls and no one answers. I call the no back and get a a recording from the operator saying this is not a working no.

Claiming to be US Census Bureau, kept us on the phone for over an hour. Collected a TON of VERY personal information, mostly about my mother. Mind you, my mother and myself, along with 3 small children live here, this is my grandmother's house.

Every time I answer this number, there is static and then a dial tone. Caller ID said Unknown Name.

Craig's message indicated he was with GSS and only requested a call back - no subject. Googled his number and found this site. All of the comments are helpful and confirmed my suspicion that this is a telemarketer or solicitor of some type. Thanks all!

I got the same package that I didn't order. I called the same number in hopes it was someone telling me how to return the package. However; i am sure it is connected to the scam company that was selling/pushing their Hoodia product. BEWARE! If they have your address they have your account and will start charging you on one of your credit cards or checking accounts. I am scared this phone number is gonig to be a big billing... Why aren't we protected from this... the governement needs to get involved and shut these people down.. BIG SCAM!
